Commercial air purifier that revitalizes air with photocatalysts - Contributing to the reduction of food loss by preserving the freshness of stored agricultural products.
The commercial air purifier "Air Revive," which utilizes photocatalytic technology, takes in air from environments containing viruses, harmful substances, bacteria, and foul odors, and revitalizes the air through the powerful oxidative decomposition of the photocatalyst. Regarding the safety of the photocatalyst, it does not emit harmful ozone, ultraviolet rays, or chlorine. Additionally, in terms of running costs, the photocatalytic filter can be reused economically by regularly soaking it in water or lukewarm water for cleaning. The results of a demonstration experiment conducted with a mandarin orange farmer in Shizuoka Prefecture, themed "Using the Power of Light to Prevent Decay," were presented at the "Shizuoka Prefecture SDGs Business Award 2022," where it received the Governor's Award. *Patent application is currently in progress.
